Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for testing and QA activities during releases.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, test plans, and test reports for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Coordinate testing services and collaborate with internal resources to support delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal technical teams and third-party software vendors as needed.
  • Manage and prioritize testing-related projects to deliver on time, within scope, and with a focus on quality and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and introduce automation where appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, quality, and data integrity standards across computerized systems.
  • Mentor and coach junior test team members.
  • Provide technical guidance on verification and validation, risk-based testing, and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and quality functions on testing strategy and execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in LIMS and/or Salesforce testing with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of laboratory science workflows, particularly in genomics, molecular biology, or clinical research environments.
  • Proven experience translating technical requirements into testing strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve root causes of problems.
  • Solid understanding of GAMP5 risk-based computerized systems validation methodology.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements including GxP, CLIA, and data integrity frameworks.
  • Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira and requirements tools such as Jama (preferred).

  • Competitive compensation with a base salary range of $150,200 to $200,000 USD depending on location.
