Description

  • Develop go-to-market monetization strategies, including economic model design, for new and existing offerings.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase customer value, penetration, and bookings.
  • Advise leaders on the implications of monetization decisions for the overall economic model and strategic outcomes.
  • Help prioritize product roadmaps and define monetization strategy for new offerings.
  • Align packaging and pricing with customer value, needs, and willingness to pay.
  • Optimize pricing levels based on value, competition, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Improve pricing processes, insights, governance, execution, market validation, and performance measurement.
  • Conduct hypothesis-driven analyses, customer research, and voice-of-customer interviews to identify monetization opportunities.
  • Build analytical models to inform monetization and economic model strategy.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and sales leaders to build consensus, support senior-level decision making, and execute global rollout plans.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in management consulting and/or business strategy roles.
  • Experience with pricing or go-to-market strategy in the technology space.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Highly quantitative and data-driven with experience using hypothesis-driven and data-driven analyses to solve complex business problems.
  • Leadership ability to inspire cross-functional partners and influence senior executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in monetization strategy and pricing/packaging optimization, preferably in SaaS, software, or internet businesses.
  • Marketing strategy experience with the ability to understand customer needs and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience with research methodologies and data analytics to support pricing strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to drive key initiatives to successful outcomes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Remote position, with leadership based in the Seattle and San Jose area.
