Description

  • Work directly with the President of Products and Technology to shape the department narrative and communicate strategy, priorities, progress, and changes.
  • Partner with the Product and Technology Chief of Staff to coordinate messaging and timing across leadership communications and transformation initiatives.
  • Own the communications cadence for the Products and Technology function to maintain a consistent drumbeat of messages.
  • Create and deliver multi-channel internal communications across email, newsletters, intranet, Teams, all-hands, AMAs, video messages, presentations, FAQs, and manager talking points.
  • Develop communications plans that apply a change management approach and ensure messages reach the right audience with clarity and confidence.
  • Partner with People & Culture to plan and deliver communications for large-scale people programs, including performance cycles, talent processes, benefits updates, and policy changes.
  • Write persuasive communications on sensitive topics that inform, inspire, and reduce uncertainty.
  • Incorporate employee listening insights from channels such as Veeam Voice and pulse feedback into messaging and sequencing.
  • Develop detailed project plans and establish communications governance, including approvals processes, to keep messages timely and accurate.
  • Measure communications effectiveness across channels and recommend improvements to reach, understanding, and adoption.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of communications-related experience in a tech field.
  • Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
  • Excellent research and writing abilities.
  • Proven experience developing communications and campaigns during transformation efforts.
  • Experience tailoring messages to key audiences across levels and geographies.
  • Experience partnering with transformation leaders, program/project managers, and HR partners on change management communications.
  • Strong creative problem-solving and proactive stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams channels, SharePoint, email broadcasting platforms, and other internal channels.
  • Comfort with visual design best practices.
  • Experience working with executives and strong executive presence, including the ability to coach leaders on message discipline, storytelling, and delivery.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and adapt working hours to business needs.
  • Ability to work in-office in San Jose, CA.

  • Compensation range of $181,800 to $337,500 USD in Zone 1, $166,600 to $309,300 USD in Zone 2, $151,500 to $281,200 USD in Zone 3, and $131,800 to $244,700 USD in Zone 4, with base pay plus a performance-based bonus.
