Description

  • Write and maintain code to automate public cloud infrastructure, software delivery pipelines, enablement tools, and internally consumed platform services.
  • Document system design, configurations, processes, and decisions to support an asynchronous, distributed team.
  • Collaborate with remote engineers to build and improve the Veeam Data Cloud platform.
  • Work with containers, serverless infrastructure, public cloud services, and other modern SaaS technologies.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for product operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS company or cloud service provider.
  • Experience automating infrastructure through code using tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Experience across a broad range of public cloud services.
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products.
  • Understanding of operational excellence principles in a SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or C/C++.
  • Understanding of secure design principles in the cloud and experience implementing them.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them pragmatically.
  • Strong bias toward action and direct, frequent communication.
  • University degree in a technical field.
  • Advanced experience with Azure (preferred).
