Description

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with customers to assess current IT environments and requirements.
  • Design high-level and detailed solution architectures tailored to customer needs.
  • Create low-level design documents, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures and design guidelines for customer-led and partner-led deployments.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Provide level-of-effort estimates to support planning and resource allocation.
  • Offer technical oversight during deployment and post-sales implementation.
  • Assist with proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and architecture validation.
  • Support partner-driven implementations and troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, sales, customer success, and other internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful adoption.

Requirements

  • IT experience, including experience in a solution architecture or technical leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in data protection, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience with containers, including Docker and Kubernetes, and container security in enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and storage systems.
  • Experience leading transformation projects for large enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and IT governance.
  • Experience in post-sales consulting, professional services, or solution delivery with direct customer engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Potential to travel up to 50% to support global enterprise deployments.
  • Preferred: experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python, large-scale IT infrastructure deployments, and autonomous innovation.
  • Preferred certifications include TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification, Veeam VMCE, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, or CISSP.
