Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and build automation for C#/.NET and C++ projects across Windows and Linux build agents.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor build automation systems to ensure seamless software builds and deployments.
  • Write and maintain scripts for infrastructure deployment automation, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, optimize build performance, and document pipeline architecture and operational standards.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production.
  • Serve as the DRI (directly responsible individual) for build and release infrastructure, owning CI/CD reliability and security SLAs.
  • Lead incident response and postmortems for build/release incidents and drive preventive, end-to-end improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth product delivery and cross-team alignment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with a CI system (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
  • Experience automating processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Ability to use REST APIs for process automation.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux administration and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based workflows.
  • Proficiency with Git for source control.
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with international stakeholders; English proficiency sufficient for international communication.
  • Knowledge of C# and C++ (bonus/preferred).
  • Experience with monorepositories, managing large build artifacts, cross-platform toolchains, IaC tools (e.g., Ansible), RPM repositories, virtualization platforms, and package managers like NuGet and Conan (bonus/preferred).
