Description

  • Design and develop highly reliable and scalable SaaS microservices integrated with cloud-managed services.
  • Ensure code quality, including thorough testing and security practices.
  • Own the reliability and efficiency of services running in the cloud and participate in on-call rotations for production operations.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, review code, and provide constructive feedback to other engineers.
  • Collaborate with a distributed/global engineering team to build, deploy, and support the Veeam Data Cloud platform in production.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the software development industry.
  • Experience designing, building, and implementing SaaS or large-scale cloud services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Expertise with a modern programming language such as Java, Go, Scala, or Rust.
  • Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
  • Proven ability to develop, test, and debug production-quality, scalable, concurrent systems.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms).
  • Passion for code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
  • Bonus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools.
  • Bonus: experience in the data protection industry.
  • Remote work is only possible if the employee is located in Poland; applicants permanently outside Poland may not be considered.
