Description

  • Lead technical discovery with technical and business stakeholders to define objectives, constraints, success criteria, and account strategy.
  • Build and deliver tailored demos and sandbox environments for complex federal evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Recommend reference architectures for general IT, classified, and IL4 to IL6 environments.
  • Address security, compliance, performance, and scalability concerns while resolving technical objections during the sales process.
  • Partner with Services on statement-of-work inputs and help identify and mitigate blockers in POCs.
  • Articulate competitive differentiators and provide reusable technical assets and selling materials to AEs, partners, and the SE team.
  • Mentor and develop team members on discovery, demo delivery, and competitive positioning.
  • Surface field feedback to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Services, and Customer Success to improve offerings and processes.
  • Support expansion opportunities, strategic partnerships, and field readiness through reusable enablement assets.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in presales Solutions Engineering for SaaS or enterprise software, with significant DoD or federal account experience.
  • Proven success running POCs and technical evaluations in complex, strategic, classified, or restricted federal environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active TS/SCI eligibility or existing SCI access, with Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred.
  • English language proficiency; additional language skills are valued for allied-nation and coalition engagements.
  • Experience navigating federal integrations and SI-led delivery partnerships such as Leidos, SAIC, Booz Allen, or Peraton.
  • Working knowledge of CMMC, JSIG, or IC-specific compliance frameworks.
  • Strong written and presentation skills tailored to federal audiences and evaluation processes.
  • Foundational understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud infrastructure, and secure deployment environments.
  • Technical familiarity with diagramming for RMF/ATO packages, bash and/or PowerShell, SQL basics, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD fundamentals with DevSecOps knowledge.
