Description

  • Lead technical discovery with technical and business stakeholders to define objectives, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Build and deliver tailored demos and sandbox environments for complex federal evaluations and POCs.
  • Recommend reference architectures for general IT, classified, and IL4–IL6 environments.
  • Resolve technical objections and identify or mitigate blockers during the sales cycle and POCs.
  • Partner with Services on SOW inputs and implementation readiness.
  • Articulate competitive differentiators and support AEs, partners, and SE teammates with reusable assets and technical selling guidance.
  • Mentor and develop team members on discovery, demo craft, and competitive positioning.
  • Surface field feedback to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Services, CS, Sales, and partners.
  • Support expansion opportunities and strategic partnerships through technical engagement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in presales Solutions Engineering for SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Significant DoD or federal account experience.
  • Proven success running POCs and technical evaluations in complex, strategic, classified, or restricted federal environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI eligibility or existing SCI access preferred.
  • Experience navigating complex federal integrations and SI-led delivery partnerships such as Leidos, SAIC, Booz Allen, or Peraton preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CMMC, JSIG, or IC-specific compliance frameworks preferred.
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills tailored to federal audiences and evaluation processes.
  • English language proficiency; additional languages valued for allied-nation and coalition engagements.
