Description

  • Analyze and model large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and validate classification models, including feature creation, data cleaning, and training and deployment pipelines.
  • Evaluate credit risk for potential borrowers using developed models and assign credit scores or probability of default values.
  • Engineer relevant features that improve model predictive power and better represent borrower creditworthiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analysis, develop models, and contribute to technical decisions.
  • Monitor deployed model performance, evaluate metrics, and make adjustments as user behavior, market conditions, or regulations change.
  • Research new data science and machine learning methods and experiment with new approaches to credit risk assessment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with programming knowledge.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Data Science or Data/Business Analytics with machine learning knowledge.
  • 2 or more years of experience using Python and SQL.
  • Experience or knowledge in Data Engineering is desirable.
  • Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) is desirable.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience applying machine learning to financial risk analysis is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking with the ability to explore data and turn insights into actionable business decisions.
