Description

  • Develop conceptual, analytical, and numerical groundwater models for environmental impact assessments, permitting, water treatment, and remediation projects.
  • Provide senior hydrogeological technical input as a subject matter expert across projects.
  • Write, review, and deliver technical reports and communications.
  • Conduct, interpret, and report on hydrogeological and water studies.
  • Interpret aquifer tests, characterize aquifers using maps and spatial data, and perform spatial analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical experts to achieve project goals.
  • Liaise with clients, assessors, and government regulators.
  • Lead proposal development, scope development, and presentations to support business development.
  • Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture focused on trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related science.
  • Master’s degree or doctorate preferred.
  • P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation, or eligibility, is an asset.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in mining or environmental consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in groundwater modelling and groundwater programs.
  • Experience with hydrogeological modelling software such as FEFLOW and MODFLOW.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrogeological study design and integration with multidisciplinary studies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
