Description

  • Participate in internal initiatives that support and grow the quality practice across the team.
  • Champion best practices in quality assurance.
  • Write and execute automated and manual tests for web and mobile applications.
  • Create and maintain automated API and end-to-end UI tests.
  • Contribute to team collaboration and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
  • Work at the intersection of technology, creativity, and data on digital delivery efforts.
  • Support communication and coordination with clients and colleagues outside Quebec.
  • Help improve testing practices and contribute to the overall impact of the team and product.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience writing automated and manual tests or developing features, including test execution for web or mobile applications.
  • Experience developing automated tests in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience in QA automation, preferably end-to-end automation with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present information in a logical and well-organized way.
  • Experience working in agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in French and English.
  • Ability to work independently, stay highly motivated, and collaborate well in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to build strong, positive relationships with software developers and business analysts.
  • Strong experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Experience with black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, functional, and non-functional testing.
  • Experience writing end-to-end UI tests.
  • Experience writing API and integration tests using mocking frameworks (preferred).
  • Good understanding of XML and JSON structures (preferred).
  • Basic experience creating automated API tests with RestAssured, RestSharp, Postman, or GraphQL (preferred).
  • Experience testing mobile applications using emulators and cloud testing tools such as Browserstack or Crossbrowsertesting (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
  • English proficiency is required for regular communication with clients and colleagues outside Quebec.

  • Salary range of CAD 69,000 to CAD 86,000 annually, depending on experience and work location.
