Description

  • Define and own the product vision for client engagements and ensure decisions stay aligned to that direction.
  • Align client stakeholders and internal teams around shared priorities, resolving tension between business needs, delivery constraints, and user needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and serve as a credible point of contact for product decisions and trade-offs.
  • Lead discovery and delivery by maintaining a prioritized roadmap focused on outcomes, user needs, client goals, and technical realities.
  • Champion the use of AI tooling across the SDLC to accelerate research, analysis, requirements work, and delivery cycles.
  • Communicate with executive presence in roadmap presentations, scope conversations, and escalation management.
  • Identify delivery, stakeholder, and commercial risks early and lead mitigation responses.
  • Own or co-own the product roadmap and make prioritization decisions using user, data, and client strategy insights.
  • Support account growth by identifying opportunities to expand Valtech’s engagement within existing client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop junior product and delivery team members through coaching and example.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Valtech’s Product Practice by sharing learnings on AI tooling, delivery approaches, and client engagement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience as a Senior Product Manager in a digital consultancy or agency environment leading complex client engagements.
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and senior client stakeholders around a shared product direction.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including comfort presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate the SDLC, such as AI-assisted synthesis, requirements generation, prototyping, documentation, delivery reporting, or development.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technology, with a habit of experimenting with new tools.
  • Experience owning product roadmaps and backlogs end-to-end with strong prioritization and trade-off management.
  • Solid commercial awareness, including understanding of SOW management, budget health, revenue, and margin outcomes.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments with the ability to adapt frameworks to the engagement.
  • Track record of developing others through mentorship, line management, or team leadership.
  • Natural collaborator and strong dot-connector who builds alignment through clarity, empathy, and conviction.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations and operate comfortably with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to identify and responsibly develop opportunities within client relationships.
