Description

  • Convert legacy C++ and .NET 4.8 WinForms components into .NET Core-based microservices and Blazor UI modules.
  • Rewrite PL/SQL-based business logic into C# using EF Core and a service-oriented architecture.
  • Build API endpoints, service classes, controllers, and reusable components for modular modernization.
  • Participate in database migration workflows from Oracle to PostgreSQL, including code refactoring and validation.
  • Work with designers and architects to modernize UI screens into Blazor while preserving functional parity.
  • Develop microservices using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
  • Implement containerized components with Docker and support deployment to Kubernetes and Azure Container Apps.
  • Integrate code with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployment workflows using Terraform.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging across service layers.
  • Collaborate with architects, DB migration leads, testers, infra teams, and cloud engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables and environment setup.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience with Blazor for UI modernization.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted modernization tools and pattern mining.
  • Experience converting WinForms/C++ modules to C#/.NET Core and Oracle PL/SQL logic to C# service layers.
  • Understanding of multi-tier architectures and decomposition of monolithic systems.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, RESTful services, WCF, and SOAP.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as MSTest, JUnit, or similar.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and REST API design.
  • Experience with message-based integration concepts such as Kafka or ActiveMQ.
  • Experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Redis Cache.
  • DevOps experience, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
  • Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.
