Description

  • Embed with customer engineering teams and lead technical discovery sessions with business, engineering, and security stakeholders.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into AI architectures and delivery plans.
  • Architect, code, and ship production-grade agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Design and implement RAG pipelines and grounding architectures to improve response quality and reduce hallucinations.
  • Build integrations between Google AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy data systems, identity, and security boundaries.
  • Implement multi-agent patterns using frameworks such as Google ADK or LangGraph.
  • Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic systems, tracking accuracy, safety, latency, and cost metrics.
  • Debug agent logic and optimize tool selection in live production environments.
  • Co-build with customer engineering teams and operationalize AI-assisted development tools and best practices.
  • Drive handoff to the customer team and maintain documentation, architecture decision records, and evaluation results.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the province of Québec.
  • Fluency in English is required for collaboration with teams across the Americas and Europe.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience using Python, TypeScript, or comparable languages.
  • Track record of shipping production-grade code to internal or external customers.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and deploying AI systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Vertex AI, including model deployment, fine-tuning workflows, evaluation, and observability.
  • Experience with Gemini models, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and multimodal use cases.
  • Experience with BigQuery and Cloud Storage as data and grounding sources for AI workloads.
  • Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub for deploying and orchestrating services.
  • Experience with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise agents.
  • Experience building production AI solutions, including LLM application development, RAG architectures, and data pipelines.
  • Experience deploying cloud resources via Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience leading technical discovery sessions and translating business goals into technical roadmaps.
  • Experience integrating AI systems with enterprise APIs, legacy data systems, and security perimeters.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites.
  • AI proficiency for productivity.
  • Outstanding communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience implementing multi-agent systems using ADK, LangGraph, or CrewAI is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying MCP servers, tool-calling protocols, and connector ecosystems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of LLM-native operational metrics such as tokens/sec, cost-per-request, and time-to-first-token is preferred.
  • Track record of troubleshooting live, high-traffic production AI systems during critical windows is preferred.
  • Experience architecting AI solutions for data sovereignty, secure governance, and air-gapped or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Experience designing user-facing interfaces for AI and agentic systems with transparency and explainability is preferred.
  • Experience driving organization-wide AI or engineering-velocity initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience advocating for AI-assisted software development and introducing coding assistants to enterprise teams is preferred.
  • Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Data Engineer certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with full-stack application development and REST/GraphQL API design is preferred.
