Description

  • Supervise FF&E production follow-up and quality control at factories in Brazil and Europe.
  • Approve inventory before packing and sign-off to ensure items meet quality, specification, and finish standards.
  • Monitor inbound deliveries to the Preá storage facility and manage loading and unloading operations.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all FF&E items throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle dispatch, receiving, transport, and compliance documentation for internal controls and auditing.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics from factories to Preá and from Preá to Jericoacoara with batch delivery scheduling.
  • Arrange specialized 4x4 or off-road transport for final-mile delivery across difficult sandy access routes.
  • Coordinate delivery timelines, equipment needs, unpacking, and site readiness with the Construction team.
  • Oversee Utopia-hired installers to ensure deadlines, contractual requirements, and quality standards are met.
  • Hire and manage local equipment or machinery needed for storage and transport operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FF&E logistics, supply chain management, project management, or procurement, preferably in hospitality or high-end residential projects.
  • Proven experience supervising factory production, performing quality checks, and managing sign-off processes.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics, with Brazil and Europe experience preferred.
  • Experience managing storage facilities, inventory systems, and warehouse operations.
  • Track record overseeing loading/unloading operations, equipment rental, and transport coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with remote or difficult-access job sites such as desert, beach, island, or jungle environments is a strong plus.
  • Experience coordinating with construction teams, installers, and multiple vendors simultaneously.
  • Prior responsibility for delivery scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
  • Experience supervising installation teams is highly desirable.
  • Portuguese and English are required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management tools, tracking systems, and documentation workflows.
  • Understanding of final-mile logistics and off-road delivery constraints.
  • Familiarity with transport regulations, customs basics, and dispatch/receiving procedures.
  • Ability to produce strong reporting and documentation, including photos, checklists, receiving logs, and QC reports.
  • Ability to read technical documents such as spec sheets, shop drawings, and BOQs.
