Description

  • Organize programs and activities in alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Develop processes and plans that support the program’s strategic direction and long-term objectives.
  • Create and manage program budgets and operating plans.
  • Develop evaluation methods to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Write program funding proposals to support uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Manage a team with diverse responsibilities and ensure goals are met across performance, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement changes and interventions to help achieve project and program goals.
  • Meet with stakeholders to communicate progress, issues, and service decisions clearly and transparently.
  • Produce accurate and timely status reporting throughout the program life cycle.
  • Analyze program risks and support mentorship and coaching of junior team members.
  • Assist with cradle-to-grave program and project planning, including drafting requirements documents and supporting acquisition activities.
  • Perform pre-award and post-award contracting functions, including market research, solicitation support, awards, contract administration, options, terminations, and closeout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred, in business or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience leading projects and programs.
  • 7 years of acquisition experience.
  • FAC-C or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of project management.
