Description

  • Drive program progress from identification of market need through sustainment and obsolescence.
  • Manage the customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Define program objectives and align the resources needed to execute.
  • Own the program budget, schedule, and key results, and monitor and report program health.
  • Prepare and present Program Review materials.
  • Own the program schedule, gather inputs across the company, and re-baseline plans as changes occur.
  • Evaluate technical and program risks and opportunities, and drive mitigation and realization actions.
  • Identify and help realize program or product opportunities that strengthen the business.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact, manage contract scope, host regular check-in meetings, and lead contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members to write, review, and deliver technical deliverables.
  • Support business development and capture efforts with programmatic inputs such as cost and schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management or aerospace leadership.
  • Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.
  • Proven program management experience, preferably in the defense, national security, or aerospace domains.
  • Proven experience leading peers to field integrated products into real operating environments.
  • Ability to be adaptive and introspective, with willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
  • Advanced degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and government contracts is preferred.
  • Leadership and team-building experience, including collaborative culture building, influencing skills, and team motivation.
  • Problem-solving skills and knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person, including U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
