Description

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming manner.
  • Schedule new referrals and patient visits received by fax or telephone.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and collect payments at time of service.
  • Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace.
  • Convert referrals into evaluations and support patient intake workflows.
  • Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and help improve patient arrival rates.
  • Manage schedules, document routing, non-clinical documentation, deposits, and related practice management tasks.
  • Monitor caseload-related reporting, insurance reporting, and clinic inventory.
  • Attend required training and complete quarterly compliance training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with business office and field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, meet deadlines, and work with little to no supervision.
  • Efficient time management and strong presentation skills as a team member.
  • Ability to use multiple computer programs and perform repetitive computer-based tasks.
  • Availability to work full time, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to attend special events some evenings and weekends or work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work in an indoor office environment.
  • Ability to hear, speak, sit, type, and use office equipment throughout the workday.
