Description

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming manner.
  • Schedule new referrals and patient visits received by fax, telephone, or physician offices.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and collect payments at the time of service.
  • Maintain an orderly, organized front office workspace and create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
  • Support patient intake and practice management processes to help drive clinic growth.
  • Make welcome calls and help influence patient arrival rates through a positive customer experience.
  • Manage schedules, document routing, deposits, non-clinical documentation, and personal overtime.
  • Monitor caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, insurance reporting, and clinic inventory.
  • Attend required training sessions and complete quarterly compliance training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with business office and field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple computer programs and work with attention to organizational detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong time management and presentation skills as a team member.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work in a full-time role of at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Availability to attend special events some evenings and weekends or work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to operate computers and standard office equipment, including printers, phone, keyboard, mouse, and copiers.
  • Ability to sit, stand as needed, use repetitive motions for typing, and read computer screens for extended periods.
