Description

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming manner.
  • Schedule new referrals and patient visits received by fax or telephone.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and collect payments due at the time of service.
  • Maintain an orderly, organized front office and create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
  • Convert referrals into evaluations and support patient intake processes.
  • Make welcome calls and help improve patient arrival rates through strong customer experience.
  • Manage schedules, document routing, non-clinical documentation, deposits, and inventory.
  • Support practice management tasks in collaboration with the Clinic Director.
  • Attend required training sessions and complete quarterly compliance training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with Business Office and Field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple computer programs and maintain organizational detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with little to no supervision.
  • Efficient time management and professional presentation skills as a team member.
  • Experience working in an office or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Ability to use computers and standard office equipment such as printers, phones, keyboards, mice, and copy machines.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week if full-time expectations apply.
  • Willingness to attend special events some evenings and weekends or work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and handle routine physical requirements of office-based duties.
