Description

  • Research, develop, and deploy new machine learning features, architectures, and models.
  • Prototype and evaluate new approaches for business-critical ML problems.
  • Write production-grade Python code that is tested, reviewed, and scalable.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to the team to support next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with mentors and ML scientists to improve existing models.
  • Align stakeholders and help drive follow-up actions on proposed changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • On track to graduate by summer 2027.
  • Proficiency in mathematical, statistical, and machine learning concepts.
  • Programming skills in Python.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, humility, drive, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to use modern agentic tools such as Claude Code and Codex efficiently.
  • PhD in a related quantitative field is preferred.
  • Specialized research in statistical/probabilistic modeling or machine learning is preferred.
  • Specialized training, such as a data science bootcamp covering modeling from ideation to productionalized code, is preferred.
  • Excellent Python coding skills are preferred.

  • Anticipated base salary range of $141,000 to $150,000 USD for the U.S. remote role.
