Description

  • Learn and become familiar with Unity’s C#/.NET integration and surrounding systems.
  • Craft, prototype, and implement key technical solutions for the platform.
  • Improve the quality and reliability of the C#/.NET integration.
  • Advocate for standard methodologies for internal developers and users.
  • Ensure timely delivery and overall fitness of the C#/.NET integration.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to define a long-term vision and technical roadmap.
  • Design, track, and communicate metrics to inform resourcing decisions.
  • Communicate the team’s plans to both technical and non-technical audiences, internally and externally.
  • Provide feedback and solutions to users through documentation, forums, bug reports, and internal support channels.
  • Guide the development and effectiveness of team members.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and C++.
  • Relevant knowledge of compiler toolchains and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with global stakeholders.
  • English fluency for frequent professional communication with worldwide colleagues and partners.
  • Game development experience, particularly engine development, is preferred.
  • Experience working with remote or international teams is preferred.
  • Experience developing cross-platform code, particularly between ARM and x64, is preferred.
  • Prior use of Unity is preferred.
