Description

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of UX designers while fostering innovation, teamwork, and inclusivity.
  • Own the UX product strategy across the full go-to-market funnel, from marketing touchpoints through Unity.com and the learning ecosystem.
  • Oversee the design of commerce workflows, including purchases, entitlements, and product licensing.
  • Own the UX for the Asset Store and ensure it integrates smoothly with other Unity products and services.
  • Apply systems thinking to simplify complex integrations and create a connected experience across touchpoints.
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Engineering leaders to align design decisions with business goals.
  • Champion UX improvements and design innovation in the context of AI-driven product experiences.
  • Lead design conversations and reviews with senior leadership.
  • Ensure a seamless, strategic experience across Unity’s commerce, learning, and marketplace ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in UX leadership with a track record of managing and growing global design teams.
  • Ability to develop a strategic view of an end-to-end connected experience across multiple products and ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of complex systems and integrations.
  • Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership and influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Experience designing for commerce stacks, marketplaces, or licensing systems is highly valued.
  • Natural curiosity for technology and a passion for empowering creativity through innovative tools.
  • Previous product design experience in AR/VR or 3D environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Unity or other game engines is a plus.
  • Professional verbal and written English communication is required for frequent collaboration with global colleagues and partners.
