Description

  • Design, build, operate, and maintain deployment pipelines and infrastructure for Unity's public cloud Asset Manager service.
  • Create tooling, packaging, and deployment options for private and self-hosted enterprise environments.
  • Extend deployment patterns to support additional Unity products and services in private enterprise cloud systems.
  • Strengthen observability, security, and reliability across public and private deployments.
  • Partner with product engineers to improve service portability and safe release processes.
  • Mentor teammates on deployment and operational best practices.
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce toil and improve release reliability.
  • Own a meaningful slice of the deployment process and advance repeatable private deployment patterns.

Requirements

  • Deep experience deploying and operating production services on Azure.
  • Strong Kubernetes and containerization experience.
  • Fluency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with Helm and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track record of making releases automated and repeatable.
  • Experience packaging and delivering software into customer-controlled, private, or self-hosted environments.
  • Solid grounding in security, observability, and reliability for enterprise systems, including PKI and certificate management.
  • Experience with TLS/mTLS, private CAs, and CAC authentication.
  • Collaborative, product-minded approach to simplifying complex deployments.
  • Openness to using AI tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.
  • Experience deploying and operating production services on AWS and/or GCP is preferred.
  • Experience with private, self-hosted, or air-gapped enterprise deployments and related compliance needs is preferred.
  • Experience with artifact and container registry management and secure software supply chains is preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS alongside single-tenant customer installations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Go is preferred.
  • Prior experience with product lifecycle management tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to real-time 3D, large-asset, or data-streaming workloads is preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written English communication is required.

  • Gross base salary of CAD $125,300 to $175,300.
