Description

  • Design, build, operate, and maintain deployment pipelines and infrastructure for Asset Manager on Unity’s public cloud.
  • Create tooling, packaging, and deployment options for enterprise customers running Asset Manager in private and self-hosted environments.
  • Extend deployment patterns so other Unity products and services can be deployed into private enterprise cloud systems.
  • Improve observability, security, and reliability across both public and private deployments.
  • Partner with product engineers to make services portable and easier to release safely.
  • Mentor teammates on deployment and operational best practices.
  • Assess current deployment pipelines and identify high-impact opportunities to reduce toil and improve reliability.
  • Take ownership of meaningful portions of the release process and drive automation improvements.
  • Establish repeatable deployment patterns for customer-controlled enterprise environments.

Requirements

  • Deep experience deploying and operating production services on Azure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers.
  • Fluency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Helm and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track record of making releases automated, repeatable, and low-friction.
  • Experience packaging and delivering software into private, self-hosted, or customer-controlled environments.
  • Strong grounding in security, observability, and reliability for enterprise systems.
  • Experience with PKI and certificate management, including TLS/mTLS, private CAs, and CAC auth.
  • Collaborative, product-minded approach to simplifying complex deployments.
  • Openness to using AI tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.
  • Experience deploying and operating production services on AWS and/or GCP (preferred).
  • Experience with private, self-hosted, or air-gapped enterprise deployments and related compliance needs (preferred).
  • Experience managing artifact and container registries and secure software supply chains (preferred).
  • Experience supporting both multi-tenant SaaS and single-tenant customer installations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Go (preferred).
  • Prior experience with product lifecycle management tools (preferred).
  • Exposure to real-time 3D, large-asset, or data-streaming workloads (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English, written and verbal, with globally distributed colleagues.

  • Gross base salary of CAD $125,300 to $175,300.
