Description

  • Investigate and reproduce bugs in Unity’s graphics features on specialized hardware and devices to identify root causes.
  • Test Unity graphics features across a wide range of devices to verify performance and compatibility.
  • Execute performance testing, collect data, and identify optimization opportunities for graphics on different platforms.
  • Document and communicate bug findings, performance issues, and testing results to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, QA teams, and developers to resolve technical issues.
  • Stay current on new hardware and graphics technologies to support compatibility and performance on new devices.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of real-time graphics, rendering techniques, or game engines, with Unity preferred.
  • Some familiarity with console platforms such as Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft and their hardware ecosystems.
  • Passion for debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality across multiple devices and hardware configurations.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic experience with testing methodologies and tools; performance testing is a plus.
  • Basic working knowledge of AI, with Cursor or Claude preferred.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as RenderDoc, Razor, Xcode Instruments, or Android Profiler (preferred).
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as C# or Python (preferred).
  • QA knowledge or previous QA experience (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with graphics programming or shader development (preferred).
  • Understanding of Metal, Vulkan, and OpenGL (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of XR devices and ecosystems (preferred).
  • Professional verbal and written English communication skills are required for frequent global collaboration.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
