Description

  • Investigate and reproduce bugs in Unity Graphics features on specialized hardware and mobile devices to determine root causes.
  • Test Unity Graphics features across a wide range of devices to verify performance and compatibility.
  • Run performance tests, collect data, and identify optimization opportunities for mobile graphics.
  • Document and communicate bugs, performance issues, and testing results to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, QA teams, and developers to resolve issues and improve quality.
  • Stay current on new hardware and graphics technologies to support compatibility and performance on emerging devices.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of real-time graphics, rendering techniques, or game engines, with Unity preferred.
  • Some familiarity with mobile platforms such as iOS and Android and their hardware ecosystems.
  • Some familiarity with XR platforms such as iOS, Android, and Meta and their hardware ecosystems.
  • Passion for problem-solving with a strong interest in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong drive to ensure quality across diverse devices and hardware configurations.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic experience with testing methodologies and tools; performance testing is a plus.
  • Basic working knowledge of AI, with Cursor or Claude preferred.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as RenderDoc, Xcode Instruments, or Android Profiler is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as C# or Python is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with graphics programming or shader development is preferred.
  • Understanding of Metal, Vulkan, and OpenGL is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of XR devices and ecosystems is preferred.
  • QA knowledge or previous QA experience is preferred.
  • Professional verbal and written English is required for regular communication with global colleagues and partners.
