Description

  • Develop, maintain, and extend automated UI, API, and end-to-end test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Improve regression coverage for existing features and newly delivered functionality.
  • Maintain the stability of the test automation framework through refactoring and reliability improvements.
  • Investigate test failures and identify root causes across UI, API, data, and environment layers.
  • Support debugging efforts together with developers and tech leads.
  • Participate in feature analysis and planning to determine what should be automated and at which level.
  • Help define the right automation strategy for UI, API, and integration coverage.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer for web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Commercial experience with Playwright and understanding of UI test automation best practices.
  • Experience designing and maintaining test automation architecture using Page Object Model patterns and reusable test utilities.
  • Practical experience writing and maintaining API and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Strong understanding of REST API principles, including HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication, and request/response validation.
  • Knowledge of SQL and practical experience with database validation in test scenarios.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution within the delivery process.
  • Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, test design techniques, and test documentation.
  • Understanding of core programming principles such as OOP, SOLID, and clean code practices.
  • Experience with Git and branching strategies such as Git Flow.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, identify test coverage gaps, and choose the right level of automation for a feature.
  • Intermediate English level or above.
  • Experience with WebdriverIO, Appium, or Appium Inspector is a plus.
  • Background in marketing or analytics testing is a plus.
  • Experience working with Claude Code is a plus.
