Description

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Java applications and services.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Java developers in a remote environment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability and reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem and broader software development landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of extensive Java development experience, with a strong focus on enterprise-level applications.
  • Proven experience in a lead or senior developer role with leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Deep expertise in Java 8+ and core libraries, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong testing knowledge with tools such as JUnit and Mockito, plus excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
