Description

  • Act as a bridge between application development teams and core cloud infrastructure teams.
  • Help application development teams bring products and features into production.
  • Provide L2 support for Engineering Operations when incidents or issues occur.
  • Support cloud infrastructure operations with attention to scalability, failover, and observability.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and deployment tools.
  • Troubleshoot and operate VMs and containers on Linux environments.
  • Work with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps-based infrastructure deployment.
  • Collaborate with a self-organizing Scrum team and client stakeholders in a scaled agile framework.

Requirements

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or SysOps Associate certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and running cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with scalability, failover, and observability in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with automation using scripting languages.
  • Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting VMs and containers on Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with either Kubernetes or Terraform.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional certification, or equivalent experience.
  • CKA certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure deployment via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
  • Past or current application development experience, especially with backend services.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who enjoys collaborating with teams and clients.
  • Willingness to work on a 3-month engagement.
