Description

  • Establish subject matter expertise on the mobile SDK team and own key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers on product delivery.
  • Translate product and business goals into technical design documents and architecture decisions.
  • Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable services and full-stack software systems.
  • Build backend services with high availability, low latency, and autoscaling.
  • Lead and influence backend development practices and architecture across the company.
  • Define, teach, and promote strong engineering practices within the team and broader developer community.
  • Write, review, document, release, and support reliable software products with speed and quality.
  • Gather technical requirements and evaluate architectural trade-offs for new solutions.
  • Partner with POS terminal vendors as the technical point of contact for integration projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a South Korean citizen or currently reside in South Korea with a valid work visa.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in mobile development.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Swift or Kotlin for iOS or Android development.
  • Experience with iOS and/or Android operating systems and frameworks, with willingness to contribute to the other platform.
  • Working experience developing SDKs.
  • Experience implementing mobile design principles and understanding the mobile lifecycle.
  • Experience with software best practices and tools such as Git, Docker, CI, and 12factor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
