Description

  • Improve reliability, scalability, and performance across critical services.
  • Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to guide engineering priorities.
  • Design and develop observability systems covering metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Lead complex incident response and serve as incident commander when needed.
  • Conduct blameless postmortems and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Reduce operational toil through automation, tooling, and improved workflows.
  • Partner with product and platform teams on architecture, production readiness, and failure recovery.
  • Build reusable operational systems and paved roads for reliable service management.
  • Mentor engineers and improve organizational operational maturity.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or backend systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated ownership of reliability outcomes for complex distributed systems.
  • Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and production-scale systems.
  • Deep understanding of observability, incident management, and system performance.
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or another programming language for automation and tooling.
  • Ability to influence teams and change engineering practices without direct managerial authority.
  • Ability to make clear, process-driven decisions during incidents.
  • Experience building or scaling SRE practices, including SLOs, incident frameworks, or on-call models (preferred).
  • Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, high-growth systems, performance engineering, or capacity planning experience (preferred).
  • Legal authorization to work in the position’s country without current or future visa sponsorship.
