Description

  • Lead and grow the Core Infrastructure team, setting vision, priorities, and execution for foundational cloud services.
  • Own the design, deployment, and operation of shared cloud primitives including GCP orgs and folders, networking, load balancers, compute, base images, Terraform frameworks, and upgrades.
  • Define and enforce best practices for scalability, security, observability, and maintainability across the cloud platform.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe, and reliable development and deployment workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure processes, automation, and reliability.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong expertise in GCP, including organization/folder structure, networking, compute, load balancing, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.
  • Proven track record of designing and operating scalable, reliable cloud systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical understanding.
  • Experience with base image management and automated upgrades is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security best practices is preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-moving technology companies, preferably SaaS or CCaaS, is preferred.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams is preferred.
