Description

  • Develop compelling case themes and defense strategies.
  • Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
  • Manage all phases of assigned litigation matters, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Communicate routinely with clients and build relationships with current and prospective firm clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across experience levels.
  • Lead and mentor less experienced attorneys.
  • Apply strategic judgment to complex, high-stakes cases.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active bar license in the State of Washington.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, including litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
  • Insurance defense experience preferred.
  • Experience managing litigation teams and mentoring junior attorneys.
  • Experience with time-management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $145,000-$180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual billable-hours bonus starting at $10,000, with $7,500 for each additional tier.

  • 401(k) with 100% match on the first 3% contributed and 50% match on the next 4-5%.
