Description

  • Develop persuasive case themes and defense strategies for complex litigation matters.
  • Independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, discovery, and trials.
  • Handle full case responsibilities from discovery through trial preparation and resolution.
  • Communicate routinely with clients and advise them on litigation strategy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across experience levels on case strategy and execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective firm clients.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to less-experienced attorneys.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Arizona Bar license.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, including litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to independently manage all facets of discovery and trial.
  • Insurance defense experience preferred.
  • Experience using time-management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $135,000–$190,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual billable-hours bonus starting at $10,000, with $7,500 for each additional tier.
  • Comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance plans, including options at zero employee cost.
  • 401(k) with a 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the next 4–5%.
  • Student loan repayment assistance or 529 college savings contributions of $100–$200 monthly after one year for full-time attorneys.
