Description

  • Own and execute core accounting and controlling processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Accounting & Controlling on day-to-day operations and key initiatives.
  • Serve as a reliable second-in-command to ensure continuity, accuracy, and consistency across accounting activities.
  • Take ownership of selected processes to reduce dependency risks and improve operational resilience.
  • Support audit preparation and execution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve and document financial processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale accounting operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and other teams to maintain alignment and clarity.
  • Support the broader accounting and controlling agenda as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, with IFRS preferred.
  • Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience in a SaaS or tech environment is a plus.
  • Background in audit, such as Big 4 or similar, is a plus.
  • Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is a plus.
