Description

  • Lead and manage the CAAS team to ensure seamless service delivery, operational continuity, and high team productivity.
  • Oversee strategy, revenue tracking, budget management, profitability, utilization, and work allocation within the department.
  • Monitor timesheets, billing accuracy, system efficiency, administrative workflows, and departmental deadlines to maintain operational excellence.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff concerns, escalations, and team performance issues, including coverage during absences.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by addressing billing concerns, resolving disputes, and handling escalations promptly.
  • Manage client projects to ensure timely execution, risk mitigation, and alignment with revenue goals and service expectations.
  • Work with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and other departments to align contracts, support service delivery, and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop employees through performance reviews, coaching, training, and individual development plans.
  • Compile and distribute regular reports on department performance, financials, and key KPIs, and lead weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Drive process improvements, innovation, and change management to improve efficiency, client satisfaction, and service quality.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experience in Client Accounting and Advisory Services or a related professional services field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 17+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong expertise in CAAS systems and compliance processes.
  • 5+ years of experience with Sage Intacct.
  • 10+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • 5+ years of experience working in a multi-client, multi-time zone environment.
  • Experience managing teams, developing training programs, and optimizing workforce productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and cost optimization is preferred.
  • Experience managing teams in a remote global or multi-regional environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance standards is preferred.
  • Background in process automation and payroll technology solutions is preferred.
  • Experience using FloQast, Monday, Keeper, or similar accounting task/document management systems is preferred.
  • Strong experience in client retention strategies and business development initiatives is preferred.
