Description

  • Develop robust back-end and front-end features with reliable automated testing.
  • Reason about application infrastructure, deployment, scaling, and production operations.
  • Drive technical direction at the feature level by breaking down ambiguous problems and unblocking teammates.
  • Advocate for modular, maintainable architecture and a strong testing culture.
  • Work fluently with AI-assisted coding and agentic development tools while maintaining quality standards.
  • Set healthy team norms for AI use and communicate clearly about AI involvement in deliverables.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to identify opportunities for TXI and its clients.
  • Understand client businesses, build relationships, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Own client relationships on straightforward projects and grow into leading complex accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and delivery managers on cross-functional teams.
  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and demos to explore technical possibilities and show solutions to clients.

Requirements

  • Experience developing both back-end and front-end code.
  • Solid understanding of automated testing at different levels.
  • Working knowledge of application infrastructure and production deployment/scaling.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems and manage tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development tools.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI output and communicate clearly about its use.
  • Strong communication, feedback, and collaboration skills.
  • Preference for experience with Python, Node.js, or React.
  • Experience with related tools is acceptable if you are a strong developer.
  • Comfort working in a remote-first, client-facing environment with core hours overlap.
  • Experience with the tech stack may be helpful but is not required.
