Description

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from construction drawings using Groundplan.
  • Interpret construction drawings and produce or update CAD drawings to support estimating activities.
  • Assist with tender preparation, estimating documentation, and project administration using SIMPRO.
  • Quantify dry fire products using company standards, templates, and pricing information.
  • Prepare project handover packages, site safety documentation, and compliance paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate project records, estimating data, and technical documentation.
  • Support the Estimator and wider team by keeping project information accurate, organised, and delivered on time.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Drafting, Building Design, Engineering, Construction, or a related field is highly regarded.
  • 2–3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and the ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings.
  • Experience performing quantity take-offs using Groundplan or similar estimating software.
  • Proficiency with SIMPRO or similar construction/project management software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in fire services, dry fire products, or construction environments is advantageous.
  • A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
