Description

  • Manage SAP HANA database administration activities in a remote contract setting.
  • Perform backup and restore operations for database systems.
  • Handle database patching, installations, troubleshooting, tuning, and monitoring.
  • Work with shell scripting to support operational tasks and automation.
  • Prepare and maintain strong technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of DBA experience, including 5+ years of SAP HANA DBA experience.
  • Experience with database backup and restore processes.
  • Experience with patching, installations, troubleshooting, tuning, and monitoring.
  • Experience with shell scripting.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a cloud environment is preferred.
  • Ansible scripting is a plus.

Benefits
