Description

  • Apply test-driven development principles to build and enhance modules, features, data structures, workflows, and applications.
  • Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies including planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with team members and architects to ensure solutions follow best practices.
  • Work with UX researchers and designers to create user-centric features.
  • Partner daily with product owners and testers in a continuous integration environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Complete unit testing, peer reviews, and functional testing as needed.
  • Serve as a technology and application knowledge expert within the domain.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to support teams.
  • Work with release engineers to package and deploy code to multiple environments.
  • Investigate and resolve application issues, including providing on-call support.
  • Stay current on trends and technologies and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Follow global security policies and practices to ensure secure solution development.

Requirements

  • 10 years of application development experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the MERN stack with expert-level Node.js and Express skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience building front ends with React and Redux.
  • Experience managing and supporting full-stack JavaScript applications and architecture.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • Continuous integration experience with Jenkins.
  • Test-driven development experience.
  • Working knowledge or experience with Docker containerization.
  • AWS certification is highly desired.
