Description

  • Own end-to-end program design and operational strategy for new care model implementations from discovery through steady-state management.
  • Design scalable care models, workflows, care team structures, member engagement strategies, and success metrics for new clients.
  • Manage operational implementation in real time by identifying bottlenecks, diagnosing issues, and driving solutions during pilot and launch phases.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across clinical operations, implementation, product, technology, finance, and senior leadership.
  • Serve as a primary internal point of contact for strategic client partners during implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Develop operational frameworks, playbooks, and enablement materials for care teams, including routing logic, escalation pathways, and handoffs.
  • Define success metrics and build measurement infrastructure to track outcomes, efficiency, satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and partner leaders to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Continue to own operational strategy and performance management for strategic client relationships in steady state.
  • Synthesize implementation learnings, clinical insights, and client feedback into care model roadmap and product strategy improvements.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of healthcare experience, including at least 4 years in clinical operations, care delivery, or a closely related operational role.
  • 2–3 years of experience in strategic operations, clinical innovation, or internal consulting roles focused on designing and implementing new programs or processes.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with clinical teams, physicians, and clinical leaders to design and implement operational or care model changes.
  • Experience implementing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in a fast-moving environment and comfort operating with ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including first-pass data analysis, hypothesis formation, and solution evaluation.
  • Comfort with healthcare vocabulary and clinical concepts, with the ability to learn new clinical areas quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for operational specs, implementation plans, executive summaries, and care team guidance.
  • Ability to navigate matrix organizations and build alignment without formal authority.
  • Startup experience or a startup mindset with comfort wearing multiple hats and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client on-site work and implementation support.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
  • Preferred: direct experience implementing new care models or service lines in digital health, virtual care, or telehealth.
  • Preferred: experience with Medicare Advantage plans, health systems, or integrated delivery networks.
  • Preferred: background in value-based care, accountable care organizations, or similar risk-bearing care models.
  • Preferred: consulting background in management consulting, healthcare consulting, or internal strategic operations.
  • Preferred: experience with healthcare data tools, reporting dashboards, or member engagement platforms.
  • Preferred: master's degree in health administration, public health, business administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: prior experience with product development, roadmapping, or cross-functional product initiatives.
