Description

  • Cultivate growth of messaging, voice, and email use cases for strategic ISV customers on the Twilio platform.
  • Own consultative sales cycles to retain business, expand into new use cases, and win new ISV messaging customers.
  • Partner with services, product, and finance teams to develop long-range account plans.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to product and carrier relations teams.
  • Stay current on communications industry initiatives and new capabilities on behalf of customers and the go-to-market organization.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of combined experience in major account or strategic sales supporting quantitative, highly analytical products or solutions.
  • Comfort working with business and highly technical leaders and influencing stakeholder understanding.
  • Analytical account development approach that uses data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to define process and build programs.
  • Experience delivering market-driven results, especially for scale and enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Ability to operate as part of a team in an overlay sales capacity.
  • Preferred: deep experience with telecom companies, including SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Preferred: domain expertise in a highly quantitative industry such as advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading.
  • Preferred: software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS experience.
