Description

  • Work with the GTM Automation Systems team to evolve a Salesforce data model that is scalable, reportable, and intuitive for end users.
  • Build custom Salesforce functionality using SOQL, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callouts, and related development tools.
  • Participate in technical analysis and document requirements for application integrations.
  • Support integration design activities with architects and other stakeholders.
  • Review code and assure quality before it enters the codebase.
  • Refactor existing code to improve extensibility and maintainability.
  • Architect and implement solutions that stay within Salesforce multi-tenant constraints such as heap size, CPU timeouts, and SOQL limits.
  • Debug issues, troubleshoot errors, and help maintain Salesforce solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Learn new technologies as project needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience building and maintaining Salesforce environments supporting enterprise-scale systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL, GitHub, and Salesforce CI/CD tools.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and asynchronous processing.
  • Strong experience designing Salesforce data models for complex workflows and integrations.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and best practices.
  • Proficiency in developing unit tests with assertions for core functionality.
  • Experience debugging issues, troubleshooting errors, and maintaining Salesforce solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, business analysts, and stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Desired: Platform Developer 1 and Platform Developer 2 certifications.
  • Desired: Experience with SQL, Python, Data Cloud, Snowflake, MuleSoft, Informatica, Heroku, Agentforce, Einstein, AI tools/technologies, or Tray.io.
