Description

  • Develop and execute a territory plan and winning strategy for target accounts to acquire new customers.
  • Adjust priorities and tactics as needed to maximize new business results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as demand generation marketing, digital sales, partner managers, and system engineers.
  • Align on shared goals and secure support from cross-functional teams.
  • Forecast business performance and manage the sales funnel using SFDC and related tools as the source of truth.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up on pipeline activity and business opportunities.
  • Represent Twilio’s mission, vision, values, and corporate story to customers, prospects, and external partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined high-touch sales experience.
  • Experience influencing business and highly technical leaders and building supportive partnerships.
  • Demonstrated track record of business growth strategy development and execution.
  • Challenger mindset with a strong appetite for acquiring new business and customers.
  • Proven ability to deliver market-driven results, especially for scale and enterprise customers.
  • Business-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written, preferred for internal collaboration.
  • Deep experience working with telecom companies, including SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms, preferred.
  • Experience in software, SaaS, CPaaS, or CCaaS, preferred.
  • Cloud technology sales experience in IaaS/PaaS, virtualization, or security, preferred.
  • Experience working with system integrators, resellers, or value-added resellers to drive broad customer coverage, preferred.
  • Remote role based in Japan.
  • Approximately 25% travel is anticipated.
