Description

  • Scale the decision-making systems for the tvScientific AI team, including workflows, training infrastructure, and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Improve the developer experience for the data science team.
  • Upgrade and maintain observability tooling for production systems.
  • Make deployments smooth and reliable as the infrastructure evolves.
  • Design systems that remain fast and predictable under load.
  • Help define and harden storage, indexing, streaming, fanout, backpressure, and failure-handling foundations across services and regions.
  • Work closely with software engineering, data infrastructure, and SRE partners to keep systems observable, debuggable, and operable in production.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Linux.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • A systems-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in high-performance software environments such as RTB or HFT.
  • Software engineering experience with reliability and CI/CD expertise.
  • Strong observability instincts.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work.
  • Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work, including testing, source-checking, data validation, and peer review.
  • High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
  • Reverse-engineering experience is a plus.
  • Terraform, EKS, or MLOps experience is a plus.
  • Python, Scala, or Zig experience is a plus.
  • NixOS experience is a plus.
  • Adtech or CTV experience is a plus.
  • Experience deploying a distributed system across multiple clouds is a plus.
  • Experience in hard real-time, low-latency environments under 10 ms is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $123,696 to $254,667 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
