Description

  • Perform deep data analysis across large, complex datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights.
  • Develop advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Analyze and validate data outputs across systems and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to understand data structures and pipeline logic.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies using root cause analysis.
  • Build and support analytical datasets and reporting layers for downstream consumption.
  • Design and execute data validation checks such as row counts, aggregates, and reconciliations.
  • Work across multiple data sources to reconcile and validate information.
  • Maintain data definitions, business rules, and metric consistency across reporting.
  • Support ad-hoc analytics, troubleshooting requests, and documentation of data findings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or related roles.
  • Strong experience working in enterprise data environments.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and complex aggregations.
  • Experience working with large datasets in platforms such as Databricks, Synapse, or Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, schemas, transformations, and data pipelines.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proven experience in data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Experience working with technical teams such as data engineering or platform teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and compliance requirements is preferred.
