Description

  • Manage a team of data collection driving operations field resources.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and coach, mentor, and support the professional development of field surveyors.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with teams and Program Managers.
  • Lead team meetings and share relevant information with the team.
  • Coordinate workload, coverage, and logistics with team members.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on regional issues and concerns.
  • Support relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, and partner organizations.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly business review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather, analyze, and report operational details, including weekly and monthly status updates.
  • Support special projects such as invoice verification and reporting metrics.
  • Provide resource planning support, including work plan allocation, management, logistics, and forecast maintenance.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and financial controls and take corrective action when needed.
  • Track performance trends, address issues, and support service improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate performance and functional issues to management as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience as a people manager and/or operations lead.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and manage a high volume of emails.
  • Ability to respond quickly to urgent program issues and remain interruptible.
  • Strong people management skills, including rapport building, expectation setting, and constructive feedback.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record.
  • Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed.
  • Ability to analyze data and create measurable action plans to improve performance.
  • Ability to travel.
