Description

  • Design technical solutions and define non-functional requirements for maintainable systems.
  • Propose new tools and approaches, and create technical documentation for new solutions.
  • Develop metrics, alerts, and system dashboards using tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, and New Relic.
  • Train new hires and operational and technical teams.
  • Monitor system health and performance and support operational teams, including production issue resolution and database changes.
  • Lead initiatives by gathering business requirements, joining product discussions, and documenting features.
  • Lead technical refinements and help create task-force plans.
  • Build and maintain backend services, API endpoints, entities, repositories, integration tests, and unit tests.
  • Investigate complex issues using large volumes of data and logs, and assess system behavior.
  • Develop or update UI components for the Admin Portal and write or update SQL queries.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge and experience with Java.
  • Solid knowledge of software engineering concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with remote and international teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and objectively.
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on solutions.
  • Comfort participating in meetings in English; fluency is not required.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, or New Relic (preferred).
  • Experience with API development, backend services, integration tests, or SQL (preferred).
